Trop amer a mon gout. Laisse un gout acre en arriere gout. Beaucoup de boure.

Bottle: Poured a deep burgundy color ale with a small foamy head with minimal retention and lacing. Aroma of weird deep sugary malt which almost taste like adjunct. Taste is a mix between some medium sweet malt with some adjunct like-sweetness. Body is quite thin for the style with some average carbonation and no alcohol could be detected. I thought this was generally bland but not as bad as I had expected.

bouteille, très amère, belle couleur brune, agéable à l’oeil, sans intérêt.

Murky reddish / brown poor with a foamy beige head. Aromas of star anise, a hard mix of weird spices and plastic? WOW... rubber metallic taste... weird bitter pasty mouthfeel with a wet cardboard finish. Jesus... can someone tell me why this brewerie is still in business?

Bottle shared with and courtesy of HogTownHarry. 2005 bottle. Pours a murky ruby-brown with a large lasting foamy off-white head. Aroma’s sweet and malty with faint hops -- doesn’t appear to be as infected as some others have been subjected to. Flavour proves me wrong, oh man that’s bad! It starts sweet but it quickly turns...horrible is the word. Just a completely foul aftertaste, really badly bitter and not from hops either. Ugh. We poured most of this down the sink.
