jbrus (4305), Delft, Netherlands Aug 10, 2005 Bottled, 4.5% ABV. Aroma of lime and light spices (coriander). Cloudy, pale yellow color, white head diminishing fast and completely, no lace. Light sweet, hint of citrus sourness, lemon, hint of coriander, little but nasty bitterness, thin and chemical-like. Quite neutral like a beer mixed with water. tiggmtl (4178), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada May 13, 2004 Citrusy phenolic aroma. Very pale blond with thin white head that disappears quickly. Mild sweet corn-like flavour. Extremely slight citrus character. Highly carbonated but very thin. Perrier with a twist of lemon has more character than this. Disappointing to say the least. Bottle (from Depanneur Laurier - 4.5%). HogTownHarry (3361), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada Jan 11, 2006 Updated: Jan 12, 2006<b>Bottle (660ml)</b>. <i>Shared with blankboy, GregClow, tupalev and "R" - bottle provided by "R"</i>. Poured clear pale yellow with a smallish white head and floaties - turns murky as it warms. Mild aroma of yeast, sugar, lemon, vague spices. Taste is a weak lemony mildly spicy (pepper and coriander?) - a weak attempt at a generic belgian witbier. Mouthfeel initially lightly fizzy, then pretty flat, with a watery acidity and an overly sweet finish. Pretty boring, Blanche de Chambly is much better. CapFlu (3353), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Jun 11, 2003 (750ml Bottle) My bottle reads 4.5%. Pours a near headless amber body. Aroma of tin and lemon. Flavours of thin, perfumy citrus and... thin! Finishes... quickly. Bland, boring and bizarrely bottled.
