Boutip (1745), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada Jan 2, 2008 Bottle: Poured a deep golden/light brown color ale with a medium foamy head with limited retention and no lacing. Aroma of berry syrup with a weird chemical like adjunct. Taste is also characterized by some chemical-like berry and malt. Very unpleasant and definitely not something I am about to try again. WeeHeavySD (1699), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA Oct 25, 2007 Bottle, purchased @ Fromagerie Atwater. Pours orange with a 1 and a half finger bright white head. Sweet razzy nose. Taste is bitter raz with little to no flavor, very very bad. tomthompson89 (1101), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 16, 2007 hazy golden, lotsa foam aroma is rasberry but smells like a syrup, flavor is tart but doesn’t really hit the tartness a good proper gueuze should ok beer but not a top contender. caledonian (365), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Sep 3, 2007 Hazy light golden with a tall head. It’s kind of like raspberry flavored soda water that’s running low on the raspberry syrup. Watery thin, with a stale air finish. Barely drinkable, and very disappointing.
