Low aroma, kind of sweaty actually (dirty lines?). Pretty light in the flavour department too, partially to do with temperature I’m sure. Comes across as a faintly yeasty pale lager. mabel (2626), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Faint yeasty nothing aroma. Hazy, orange body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Flavour has a bit of mushroom-esque yeast and some wood flower, and a spicy hint of lemon cocoa in the background. Medium body is smooth enough. Seems a fair hairy eyeball naming scheme. jerc (3954), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 7, 2007 Draft @ Amsterdam Rhino as Hairy Eyeball. It was not clear from the bartender if that was actually what they are calling this, but it seems likely from the other ratings that this is what we were served. Slightly hazy yellow body with a small white head that tries hard to get some lacing. Mild bitterness, light yeastiness throughout. Very mild flavour, light sweet lemon/orange, yeast, in the finish. Average palate. Quaffable but dull. TipsyMcStager (943), Calgary, Alberta, Canada
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jan 31, 2005 One of their weaker efforts. Pours almost clear - not a good sign for a hefe. Yeasty aroma, and not much else. Flat, devoid of flavour, astringence or more interesting aromas from superior hefes. Would be alright to drink on a patio in the summer. presario (3002), Calgary, Alberta, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 28, 2004 Had on tap and cask. Chill haze like cloudiness. Dark orange-yellow. Very thin head. Mouth drying and a little bitter. Not yeasty. Very light citrus aroma and an overwhelming pepper and slight chemical flavour.
