Looks like yet another malt likker from the boyz in LaCroix. The usual sickly medicinal adjunct smell. A color only slightly darker than the usual pale lager. Pours a thin head than disappears immediately, successive pours will not raise it again. Total see-through look of heavy filtering and pasteurization. Taste seems intended to deliver even its minimal alcohol payload with the most effectiveness. Sweet, corny, full of fusels to set you up for a hangover, with no gratification before it. pkbites (335), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Apr 22, 2006 Has a grainy, slightly banana aroma. Very fizzy head that goes flat almost instantly.
This was the "BIG CITY’ version with Cincinnati on the mandate, not La Crosse.
Paid $2.00 even (tax included) for a 4 pack of 16 ounce cans at this strange liquor & tobacco shop in downtown West Allis, Wisconsin. It doesn’t have that "thick" consistance and funny after-taste many ice beers have. It also doesn’t have any hops, malt, or barley taste either. Not good, not horrible. If you weigh less than 200 this is a very easy cheap way to get drunk. Maybe this is why that paperboy in the move BETTER OFF DEAD wanted his two dollars. Tmoney99 (4769), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Cold wet alcohol with little character. illinismitty (1799), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

Since it made its way from Vermont to TN, I had to rate it. My first ever swill rating!!! Pours pale golden with a white head. Sweet corn, malt and cream aroma. Watery mouthfeel. Flavor of corn, sugar, and hint of malt. Typical cheap macro type beer. Although, slightly better than some BMC stuff. jsquire (2113), St. Marys, Ohio, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Feb 22, 2006 I got this can from thedm. Pale golden color with a big fizzy white head. Smells like corn and a little like ginger ale. Sweet beer with corn, cardboard, white sugar, and something vaguely like nickels. This is an oddly sweet lager that gives me the sure sensation that if I drank a lot of them I would get a hell of a headache. kedlb53 (1), USA does not count | 5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Feb 22, 2006 a college students dream come true. this is the beer is the best value on campus. if you don’t appreciate this you must be a white collared big wig.

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Nov 24, 2005 Well that sure is a fine looking can of beer. Big too. And full of all the bubbly sweetness that creamed corn has to offer in a beer... Mild, sweet creamed corn aroma is simple and inoffensive. Clear golden body is topped by a fizzy but lasting cover of white head. Corn flavour is mild in the sweet and lightly grainy flavour. Light body with strong pointy carbonation that prickles the tongue. While it’s by no means good beer, it is, I suppose an inoffensive alcohol delivery system. Can sampled with ClarkVV and muzzlehatch. ClarkVV (3578), Allston, Massachusetts, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 17, 2005 16oz can pleasantly shared with Muzzlehatch and tiggmtl on 11/6/05. Smells of mineral water, light grains, dry corn-like notes and that lovely papery note so common in these quality lagers. Typical pale yellow pour, bubbly with a thin white head that recedes to a ring with no lacing. Flavor is surprisingly drinkable. Watery and very flavorless, with light hints of grains, but no stale or heavy corn syrup notes/alcohol/plastic/paper or anything of that sort. Just watered down grains. No hops apparency, no yeast apparency, very light body. Not what I’d expect from an ice beer, which are usually more red, with noxious "caramel" flavors and plenty of alcohol. Mouthfeel is fizzy, but not sharp or terribly overcarbonated. It settles out to a fairly watery consistency, actually.
