This smells like cooked corn. A dark yellow appearance. I expected more alcohol to show in that true ICE beer fashion. The flavor is quite sweet almost syrupy. I’d take it over Icehouse, does that say much? Eh good for getting bombed off your ass. Thanks heemer!

16oz can pleasantly shared with Muzzlehatch and tiggmtl on 11/6/05. Smells of mineral water, light grains, dry corn-like notes and that lovely papery note so common in these quality lagers. Typical pale yellow pour, bubbly with a thin white head that recedes to a ring with no lacing. Flavor is surprisingly drinkable. Watery and very flavorless, with light hints of grains, but no stale or heavy corn syrup notes/alcohol/plastic/paper or anything of that sort. Just watered down grains. No hops apparency, no yeast apparency, very light body. Not what I’d expect from an ice beer, which are usually more red, with noxious "caramel" flavors and plenty of alcohol. Mouthfeel is fizzy, but not sharp or terribly overcarbonated. It settles out to a fairly watery consistency, actually.

Pale yellow color. Slight aroma of apples. Tastes like an old barn with hay from a few decades ago lining the floor.

This canned brew labelled Big CIty Ice and believed to be the Brew City Ice in the same can with the same artwork poured a large sized head of foamy finely szed mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a transparent soflty catrbonated weak yellow colored body and a fair lacing. The aroma can be smelled form a distance with slightly off malty notes. The mouth feel is initially smooth with a middle that comes on a little stonger tingly and OK then finishes with a mellow malt hop note. The flavor is mild with malt hop and some compexity but rather plain in nature. The ICE quality is definitely there.

Well that sure is a fine looking can of beer. Big too. And full of all the bubbly sweetness that creamed corn has to offer in a beer... Mild, sweet creamed corn aroma is simple and inoffensive. Clear golden body is topped by a fizzy but lasting cover of white head. Corn flavour is mild in the sweet and lightly grainy flavour. Light body with strong pointy carbonation that prickles the tongue. While it’s by no means good beer, it is, I suppose an inoffensive alcohol delivery system. Can sampled with ClarkVV and muzzlehatch.

I got this can from thedm. Pale golden color with a big fizzy white head. Smells like corn and a little like ginger ale. Sweet beer with corn, cardboard, white sugar, and something vaguely like nickels. This is an oddly sweet lager that gives me the sure sensation that if I drank a lot of them I would get a hell of a headache.

I bought a sixer for $1.99, so I went into this beer not expecting much, however, it wasn’t as bad as I had anticipated. It had a few bubbles that hung to the side of the glass, with a quickly diminishing head. It had a skunky smell, but the taste wasn’t too bad. Reminded me of a low-end Hefe. The finish left me without a bitter beer face. If money runs low in the future, I may revisit this beer.
