Jul 27, 2009 From tap at the brewpub. Pours almost clear and golden amber with a small off-white head. Light metallic and roasted malt aroma with a light yeasty note. Sweet, yeasty and distinct dry phenolic flavoured. Spiced and dry finish, sharp phenolic finish.

Sep 29, 2007 Draft at the brewpub.Dark aroma of malt with candi. Very dark amber with a light beige head that flattened. Medium bodied with mild carbonation. Starts sweet and seems to taste of malt and strawberry! The finish is not overly sweet, and there is actually noticeable bitter. A pleasant drink.
