| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 29, 2009 On tap at the brewery. This amber ale poured with a modest off-white head and very little aroma. There is a pretty good caramel malt base and some decent hopping. A good session beer, but nothing special. timfoolery (484), California, USA

I love craft beer, but this one kinda tasted like it was made by an amateur. There were hops and malt, but something was off. Very little carbination as well. DTM (541), Winters, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 20, 2009 Bottle from the brewery in Sacramento, CA. This beer just didn’t do it for me. Not much malt, not much malt. Somewhat of a creamy feel on the palate. Thin-bodied brew that needed a little more carbonation. I would drink it again if it was free. ~Nice citrus hop scent with some biscuit malt sweetness.
~Taste isnt quite as hoppy as scent leads you to believe. Taste is more malty and biscuity.
~Creamy feel, quick bitter finish.
~Pretty decent brew. Nothing real special about it. bhensonb (4278), Woodland, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 13, 2007 Draft at the brewpub. Aroma of light pine hop and a bit of malt. Amber color with smallish white head. Starts with piny hop backed by malt - and a hint of spice and then it goes floral. Something subtle in the finish, like a hint of spice again.
