rdelljh (117), Pennsylvania, USA Aug 13, 2007 definitely not a yuengling lager. Hopps is present but not strong. Had a crisp taste, with medium body. aracauna (2357), Georgia, USA Sep 26, 2006 Pours a copper, a light copper, but definitely copper with very little lasting head. The aroma is bready malt and some slight, vague hopping in the background. The flavor isn’t bad, but it’s not that interesting either. kujo9 (1077), North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA Mar 25, 2005 22 oz bottle: Lasting medium sized off white head on a light amber body. Seems a little dark for a Dort? Bready malt immediately and a little doughy yeast in the aroma. A little toasty underneath. Pretty clean otherwise. Well balanced, a touch of tartness comes in along w/ a light bitterness at the finish. Clean, toasty malt flavor throughout. Lighter medium body, lower medium carb., a touch dry in the mouth. Overall not a bad beer. A bit out of style from other Dorts that I’ve had, but not a bad beer at all. A fair amount of flavor for a lighter style of beer, but the touch of sourness bothers me a little.
