brentfeesh (1030), Gadsden, Alabama, USA Jun 25, 2008 22oz bottle obtained aat the Brew Kettle. Amber-copper pour with a medium white ehad. Fairly clear for a wheat. Lightly sweet aroma in which the raspberries are noticable. Decent flavor. Lightly touched wheat and grain along with a hint of raspberry flavoring. Medium, somewhat wet mouthfeel. It’s drinkable, but nothing to get worked up about. Boring really. aracauna (2357), Georgia, USA Jun 14, 2007 Ehh. There’s absolutely nothing that stands out in this beer. A fruit beer should at least feature the fruit. If the fruit isn’t a featured aroma and flavor, then it should a subtle complement to the bolder malt, yeast, and hop flavors and aromas. This hazy red beer has enough raspberry to be noticed, but not enough to stand out. The wheat isn’t pronounced and there is no bitterness. There is a nice subtely vanilla creaminess almost from the interaction of malt, yeast, and fruit, but it’s not being featured either.
