Storm (2677), Amager, Denmark Mar 30, 2008 Blind tasting at Papsoe’s. Hazy, golden colour with a nice head. Aroma of fruit, some caramel and hints of paper. Flavour of hops, peach, and other ftuits. Ends up a little bitter and tasty.
sunevdj (1346), Copenhagen, Denmark Apr 8, 2008 Pours a clear light brown with an average off-white head and lacings. Malty caramel aromas with a hint of toffee in the backbone. Heavy hops aromas of Pine and flowers. Hints of plum too. Medium bodied. Bit above medium carbonation. Longish bitter finish with a hint of caramel. Very nice hopsprofile. RichardGretton (2550), Leicestershire, Leicestershire, England Apr 6, 2008 Bottle in Christchurch, New Zealand. Vibrant amber coloured beer with a very well hopped aroma and a nicely bitter and well hopped flavour. Overall a good IPA - well hopped indeed. Ungstrup (10824), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 29, 2008 Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is sweet hoppy and grassy, but also with notes of malt in the back ground. The flavor is sweet grassy and hoppy combined with lighter notes of toffee and bisquits, leading to a dry and quite bitter finish. Thanks Papsoe for hauling this home to Denmark and sharing. KimJohansen (2304), Copenhagen V, Denmark Mar 26, 2008 Hazy amber with medium white head. Sweet aroma with notes of grapefruit and hops. Sweet flavor that holds caramel, citrus and hoppy notes. Ends bitter.
