Pleasant grain and solid citrus hoppiness in the nose, excellent citrusy sweet hoppiness in the mouth with a good balance of background grainy malt, lingering assertive but restrained chalky hop bitterness in the finish.

Aroma has something so familiar but I can’t quite put myfinger on it, American hops!! Love it! Full, mouth filling and lovely, a very nice lager that dares to be different. In fact I’ve no doubt that because it doesn’t have the insipidness of the big brand lagers many would say it isn’t a lager. But a lager isn’t determined by its lack of flavour or interest but by how its brewed. Good work boys! tarjei (1755), Bryne, Norway

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 19, 2009 Updated: Dec 20, 2009[330ml bottle, gift from my wife - cheers!] Pours a slightly hazy orange-gold with a moderate but attractive white head. Prickly carbonation. Trademark Brewdog bitterness at first is soon chased away by sweet fruity tones. Grassy notes come through followed by lots of pine and oily resins. A slight plastic hint for a moment in the finish was the only bad thing in what was a great lager - another triumph from Brewdog! mkel07 (550), Brisbane, Australia
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 17, 2009 330ml bottle. Bright gold almost orange in colour. Slightly hazy with a fine skin of tiny bubbles acros the top. Fruit aroma abounds and is quite pleasant. Sweet taste at first but leaves a tart finish. Like the rest of the BrewDog stable it is an acquired taste. Defreni (1024), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 13, 2009 Bottle. Clear golden with a frothy white head. A welcomed aroma of honeyish malt and fruity hops. A light resin in the mouthfeel but overall pretty clean. A nice kick of hops in the finish. I really liked this one and went down a treat on another bloody hot day here. dnoaksson (179), , Sweden
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 9, 2009 Endimensionell öl. Saknar dynamik och är därtill ganska vattnig. Beskan är påtaglig, men känns mest som ett ramverk. Däremellan ekar det tomt.
