Cask@Nottingham Beer Festival 2007. Golden beer with a lightly caramel aroma and a dry, caramel and toffee flavour. Overall a plain hopped beer.

Interesting cask only ale from brewdog. A bit different from their other stuff. Not as much fruity flavours come through. Nice malty balance and more herbal and earthy notes. Very drinkable yet full of flavour. great

cask @ The Wenlock Arms. Dark gold in colour with aromas of bread dough and earthy hops. Flavors are of light malt, mild citrus fruit, hay, and peat moss. Quite bitter for the style, and medium bodied. Could have done with a bit more concentration of the citrus and malt flavors, but I really liked the added bitterness.

A Mes rate: Gravicask at Nottingham Beer Fest.
Bright golden brown with only a very slight head. Pretty standard hoppy aroma with some very delicate alcohol. More straight forward hoppy fayre in the mouth with a full on grassy hop finish. Nothing to exciting but very quaffable. Not the best brew dog by any means.

Cask, Nottingham Fest 07. Golden with a small head. Aromas are soft fruit and mellow citrus with biscuit malts and some earthiness. Flavours are lemon and grapefruit with biscuit malts. Sweet hay with peppery notes. Floral with a good bitter finish.

Cask at blue blazer edinburgh ... Crisp orange ... light hop nose .. intense sharp hop with loads of grapefruit ... little too bitter for me ... with a big building bitter drying linger.

Cask gravity at Nottingham BF 2007. Copper colour with thin bubbly off white head. Bit of tea and rubber on the aroma. OK in mouth and then this coppery almost metallic aggressive hop kicks in. Wakes your taste buds up. Bit too much maybe.
