(Bottled) Poured almost black with long lasting and tan coloured head. Aroma contained lot of hops and also chocolate. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. There flavours of chocolate, malts, hops, roastedness, caramell, sweetness and quite low bitterness. The last one actually surprised becaus the hop aroma and flavour were strong. Hops, roastedness and bitterness in aftertaste.

12oz bottle. Pours a dark brown almost black with a small sticky tan head. Aroma of dark fruit, alcohol, wood and a bit musty. Flavor is roasty burnt bitter with a chocolate sweetness. Medium body, average carbonation and a dry finish. Interesting beer, alcohol taste is pretty light for 10% but still there. A bit of a muddled finish, in my opinion.

12 oz bottle from Ebay. Nose a little weak of chocolate, caramel, and light woodiness. Clear dark brown with a medium, glass lacing tan head. Flavor is light bitter chocolate, smoke, with a lightly bitter finish.

12 oz bottle. Pours a deep, dark brown color. Aroma is roasty, sweet, notes of coffee and chocolate. Bitter finish, notes of vanilla and roasted nuts. Gets better as it warms. A good beer, but a challenge at 10%

12oz bottle from IrishBoy--thanks Richard. Deep brown with a small beige head, fading to a ring. Fruity nose with some roast and pine needles. Flavor follows suit with some oaky wood. Some spicy alcohol is apparent in the roast dry finish, bitterness @ a 4. Light prickly carbonation with a medium full body. Pretty good.

Pours deep brown with a two finger frothy tan head. Almost a 5 in appearance. Sweet nose with pineapple and tropical fruits, along with a touch coffee and dark chocolate. The flavor, as it warms, has a bit of roasted nuts and malts with smooth coffee. Don’t drink it cold as it is very bitter under about 50 degrees. Decent creamy mouthfeel.
