Bottle. Pours a dark, clear color with a large, frothy white head. Aromas of chocolate, toasted malts, and some black liquorice. Initial mouthfeel is creamy, stay creamy and then finishes with a sticky end. Flavors are toasted malts and then a very bitter finish. Okay beer, but the finish is tough to get past.

Bottle thanks to Bman. The smell is light licorice, malts, and roast. The look is clear, brownish to black in color, with a beige colored head. The taste is bitterish, malts, some roast, hidden alcohol.

Pours a dark black with a tan head. Nice citrusy hop aroma, with some good roasted malt character, some coffee notes hidden in there. Strong malt taste, caramel & toffee right up front. Good bitterness and the 10% is present throughout the brew. Medium-full body, slight resiny mouthfeel, dry finish.

( 12oz bottle thanks to BMan1113VR) Pours dark chocolate with light head and great lace. Nose of alcohol, caramel, brown sugar. Taste is smoky, hops, bitter caramel, and dark chocolate. Quite complex and hard to describe everything going on in this one. Finish lingers quite bitter like bakers chocolate.

Poured an opaque deep brown color with a cream tan head. Roasted malt aroma with notes of dark chocolate, carob raisins and tobacco leaf. Earthy and citrus hop notes mix through. Mix of citrus and dark roasted malt. Bitter finish with a decent length seems to be from the hop not the roast. Medium bodied.
