Smells like lime with hints of other citrus and malt. Tastes like euro hops and has interesting bitter notes. It hides the alcohol well, but i am not impressed. DrDavid (957), Johnson, Vermont, USA

Aroma is surprisingly malty, along with assertive hops and some citrus. Hazy orange body, small head. Flavor is nicely bitter, and more pine than citrus. Bitter finish. Not bad, but not especially great. Naven (869), Poway, California, USA

22oz brown glass bottle.
Appearance: Clear and orangish amber. Almost no head but more than Punk IPA. White coating on the surface of the beer.
Nose: More like Pacific Northwest IPA aromas. Caramel-like malt (label reveals it’s Maris Otter), sweetened yellow grapefruit, fresh pine needles, Douglas fir, fresh cut grass, lemon.
Palate: Medium-bodied and moderately sweet for the style. Toffee joins the aromas above, plus kiwi (oddly enough), lightly toasted oak, and mixed berry hard candies. Moderate finish and fairly bitter.
Notes: Like an East Coast meets West Coast IPA. Some malty sweetness and and flavor with fine dry hop character. Well made. satan165 (566), River Grove, Illinois, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 25, 2009 Bottle. Body-hazy light gold, loose foamy white ring of bubbles. Nose-lotion, light orange, light white spices, stale weak grapefruit, hops, high CO2. Taste-a little on the sweet side, piney, OK bitter level, mint/pine on the backend, tastes like a 1.5 IPA with no soul. OK, but nothing to write home about. Ruddy, appley malt character with a spicy and earthy hop component. Slightly medicinal hop flavors in the finish with stale caramel. Mouthfeel is a heavy medium, somewhat drying. mike69neilson (5), New Zealand does not count | 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Mar 20, 2009 There is nothing Hardcore about this beer. I think they should leave it to the US to brew these. No hop aroma or flavour.
