Whether you had the "new" or "old" version can be determined by reference to the batch number and the best before date. RBSG @ O’Briens from Dr. Bill. Poured a fairly clear yellow color with an almost white head. Bready malt aroma with floral and light citrus hops. The flavor had a malt sweetness to it with light toffee and light citrus notes. Medium bodied and well hidden alcohol.

Thanks to a rep for leaving our store a sample. Gold color with a medium head. Big tangerine aroma, finishing with grapefruit and a little acidic bitterness. The flavor is fantastic... A buttery smooth grain base completely awash in rich tangerines. Light bitterness. It seems that all the hops were added as flavoring, not bittering. So friggin delicious and horribly underrated.

Someone took the idea to "plant a tree, a bush or a shrub" too seriously in this bottle! Steve, DrBayern and The MadMax of beer CelticBrew poured a few down together. SPRUCE! Holy Treefarm, Batman. Nothing in the nose to suggest the logging operation getting ready for my mouth. Not much laace or head either. Flavor was SPRUCE with a touch of Lemon for spirit. Good, just unexpected!

This is certainly not a DIPA like I like it to be: this is rather like a wine in palate, like a summer wheat in flavor, a pale lager in appearance, and finally like a barley wine in aroma... Hmm--meh for what it advertises to be, but otherwise, it is rather nice although it does not mask the alcohol well enough.

bottle. poured golden, kind of light for an imperial ipa. Had a white head that clings slightly to the glass. Nice piney aroma. Nice hop kick in the initial flavor, sticks to your tongue, good IPA, but I wouldn’t call it Imperial.

Shared with the boys at Steves place. DrBayern and Doboy still present. Liked those chips Ed. Matt looks intrigued by the beer bottle (600 ml). The beer poured a nice medium gold, forming little to no foamy head. Aroma was superb, hops, pine resins. The flavour was of a huge pine bomb, with a hint of lemons and junipers. DoBoy nearly fell out of his chair! The pine flavour is powerful. Overall a fine beer from my relatives in Scotland!

330ml bottle (bb.01.01.09) from Utobeer, London. Clear, light golden body under a frothy, white head. Fragile lacings on the glass. Sweet fruity aroma with malty hints. Rather racy flavour of fruity and earthy hops supported by dried fruits and a slight yeasty touch. Tingling alcohol on the swallow together with a long-lived smooth bitterness. Good brew, but a found it quite heavy to drink (Tromsų, 01.08.2008).
