Pours orange with a little bit of white around the rim of the glass. Aroma of butter and mangos. Fruity flavor, with weak hop bite, bitter finish. Alcohol is noticeable a the end. Not sure about this one at first, but I opened up to it at the end. It’s european, for godsake. I wish this place were open when I lived in Aberdeen. robforbes (1085), Bremerton, Washington, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 1, 2008 660ML bottle. Pours pale golden yellow with thin white head. Aroma is hops, rock sugar, yeast and sweet malts. Flavor is bitter hops, suger, honey, light fruits and some tartness. Was expecting a lot more for $13 a bottle. One of the more disapointing brews I have had in a while and was expecting a lot from brewdog. DaSilky1 (1970), San Diego, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 1, 2008 weak nose of stale hops & fermented fruit. Alcoholic, spicy and slightly syrupy flavors but the aren’t especially appealing. There does seem to be a bit of bitterness behind everything which is interesting coming from scotland, but really...i don’t think Scotland was meant to brew ipa’s. tjthresh (1765), Greenfield, Indiana, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 30, 2008 Pours very clear golden with a sticky dirty white head. Aroma is lemon zest, grass, and sweet toasted malts. Nowhere near the hop character that this should have. This beer tastes very soapy. There’s lots of hops there, but they are not the right type of hops. They taste very earthy and herbal. There’s quite a bit of malt here, which tastes good. But this isn’t quite right. Big sticky mouthfeel. Slick with a alcohol finish that reminds me of mouthwash. Hmmm. I really wanted to like this beer, but it just does not work too well. agl108 (503), Manayunk, Pennsylvania, USA

Sharp, dry, astringent hop bite that makes it slightly difficult to drink. jimbowood (950), Athens, Georgia, USA
