Wow, there’s a big RSD with this one, and I dare say it is way under-appreciated. Pours turbid canary gold with 2-finger white head. Nose is floral hops, rock sugary malt, mild honey, apricot, and yeasty funk. Tastes dry, floral, very hoppy, with a Belgian IPA feel to it. Tropical fruit and funky notes are also in the flavor, with the floral hops and rock sugar maintaining a good balance. It waters out a bit late, but that’s a minor beef.

Bottle (in New Zealand), pours a clear gold with a foamy white head. Yip, plenty of hops on the nose - almost nasal burning. Resiny mostly, just a hint of caramal malt int he background. Very smooth with toffee malt on the palate. The swallow releases the drying effect of the citrus hops, and also alcohol fumes that rise into the sinuses. The finish is surprisingly creamy, grassy with some aniseed. Packs a big punch this, and pulls that off pretty well.

pours a lifeless, hazy, murky gold with no head. juicy appearance. aromas of toffee, lemony hops, and tea. flavor is unique with a earthy, herbal tone, tropical fruits, and buttery toffee doughy tasting malts. hints of mint and other leafy greens. not very carbonated. a dash of alcohol shows in the finish. this is a weird one. not diggin’ it.

Gold hazy color. Aroma was of sweet hops. Extremely sweet taste. I’d almost swear I tasted pineapple in there. I must have had a bad bottle because this one just didn’t do it for me. It was almost medicinal in aftertaste. I am a big fan of hops but this just wasn’t good. Based on other people’s ratings I’m willing to give it another try at some point.

Medium sized offwhite head, rocky with fair retention. Mostly clear, almost amber color. Nose is lightly spicey, lightly perfumey and earthy. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation level. Medium fruity flavors, light floral notes, caramel malt hints at you with a bit of woodiness gaining ground as it warms, interesting. Finish is fairly dry, lightly fruity, gently bitter and woody, ABV is non evident. Neat little brew that i,ll try again. Thanks to Robert @statelineliquors for sharing the bottle!

660ml Bottle: Aroma of hops, grass, toffee, and grapefruit. Poured amber in color with a large, creamy, foamy, rocky, off-white head that lasted throughout. Hazy. Very sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and light to medium bitter. Tastes of hops, grass, toffee, butter, cream, and Ringwoood yeast. Medium body. Syrupy, chalky texture. Soft to average carbonation. Grassy, creamy finish.

Bottle shared generously by Robert at State Line. The pour was fairly typical for a dIPA, although the body wasn’t hazy at all (makes sense, says here it’s filtered). The aroma was mostly floral hops, some fruity elements. The flavor followed the aroma, some mustiness, and the floral-fruity combo had something about it that was odd, almost like a hard candy was dipped in it for a while and allowed to premeate some sugars/flavoring into the beer. Mouthfeel was pretty light within style. Nothing special, but certainly drinkable. Thanks, Robert, a good time.

Thanks to El Gordo for this bottle--Poured a rich light amber-golden body with a decent whitish top. Floral, caramel nose with a sticky, fruity hoppy presence. Mild yet sharp bitterness . Nice balance of hops and malts. A little thin on the mouthfeel, but overall, quite good.
