Whether you had the "new" or "old" version can be determined by reference to the batch number and the best before date. (22oz. bottle) Pours a clear yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of strong urine upfront and then settles with grapefruit, butterscotch, ginger, honey, peanut butter, cereal, and light pine. Flavor of hops (floral, grassy, resin, herbal) and caramel malt.

Bottle. Pale golden, clear with a smallish white head. Hoppy and fruity nose. Flavours are quite bitter with balanced citrus in the lead. Well-made, solid bitterness harmoniously wrapped.

DLD, a table offering and not sure whom brought this: Yellow hue with a fizzy fading head and some lace. The aroma has notes of flowery and resiny hops, pale and biscuity malts, some pepper and clove, and some citric vapours. The taste pretty much follows suit, mostly bitterness and acidic fruit with some pale malt in the background before a peppery and slightly boozy finish. The mouth feel is metallic and chalky, aggressive carbonation, and the alcohol is noticeable. An okay DIPA but wished for a bit more depth.

Pale yellow like the breweries’ other IPA and well carbonated. Nose of sweet fruits, flowers. The taste is decently hoppy, I can almost feel those little cones strugging to combat the alcohol and residual sweetness. Finish is first pleasent dry hops then a little alcohol burn which is unfortunate. I think it was a mistake to leave out dark malts.

Golden color, lighter than most IPA’s. Moderate sized white head with moderate persistence and nice lacing. Nose is of alcohol, fruit and yeast. Taste is distinctly hoppy and very strong of alcohol, with noticeable floral notes. Finish is of hops and alcohol. The alcohol component is almost like the finish of doing a shot of vodka or something. This basically tastes like an IPA with lots of extra alcohol. NOTE: I love Scotland and am 50% Scottish myself; the following is out of loving esteem, not mockery: I can almost hear the Scotsman saying, "What ye be drinkin’ that soda pop IPA for, lad? Ye’ll ne’er get drunk offa that! Have some-a this! It’ll put hair on ye chest!" Pretty good, but would be better if they hid the alcohol more.

22oz. bottle. Pours a hazy gold color with a one finger head that diminished quickly. Light aromas of fresh bread, alcohol, and light hints of citris and banana. Tastes of stong alcohol and citris with a sweet begining and a very bitter finish. Medium to heavy on the palate with a creamy feeling on the mouth and good carbonation. For me, this beer would be greatly improved with less hops at the begining of the boil and more at the end to bring out more hop flavor and aroma. Overall a very good beer, but for the price I would not buy again.

Bottle pours a cloudy golden color with a off white head. Smells like grass and alcohol. Mouthfeel is medium and rough. Taste is high alcohol and finishes with an ultra bitter taste that I don’t think comes from hops. Its not very pleasant. Overall this is a beer I’d like to forget I tried.

Bottled. Pours dark golden/light amber with a medium sized off white head. The aroma is moderately sweet with more citrus than anything, maybe some grass as well. The flavor is more sweet than the nose. There is a big malt flavor up front along with peaches and citrus fruits. The finish is much more bitter than anything else. I didn’t like the way the flavors transitioned from one to another. If this wasn’t shared, I don’t know if I would have finished the bottle.
