Apricot amber in colour with little carbonation and no lacing. Had a similar effect to using mouthwash for the first time, burning and stripping the palate with a medicinal glow. phaleslu (467), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Pours a clear gold with a medium off-white head. Aroma of citrusy hops, caramel, citrus, bread. Flavor follows suit, with more alcohol apparent. Bitter, light bodied, with a dry, bitter finish. Shawn and I must have had the old version because the BBD on the label is 2/2/10 and the batch number is 207. beerwhore69 (7), Northglenn, Colorado, USA does not count | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 29, 2009 One of the best "non-american" IPA’s I’ve tried in a while. Pours almost a golden yellow, very hoppy and citrus notes to the nose, and taste, not bitter or sour, just right!

Powerful, fresh aroma of candied tropical fruit and those fruit salad chewy sweets from your childhood. Tropical fruits carry on into the flavour with tons of hops, grapefruit, pine, a bit of petrol and a little bitterness. Alcohol very evident. Interesting but vicious - it goes sraight to your head and is very much a beer for sipping. goozen (1061), Leiden, Netherlands

Full body with thick hops and peppery to the nose. I feel like while it tastes good initially there is just too much alcohol in this one to make it enjoyable to drink. Very hoppy with a great appearance.
