Ungstrup (10824), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 27, 2007 Bottled. A dark golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is very sweet and very hoppy, the hops giving it notes of elderberrises and grass - reminds me of first gold hops. The flavor is very sweet - with strong notes of caramel, and with a good mouthfeel. But it lacks bitterness, which in turn makes it a bit sticky in the mouth - give it more bittering hops and it’ll be great. omhper (10140), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 30, 2007 Bottled at Blackfriars, Glasgow. Pale amber. Heavy grapefruit aroma. Sweet malt dried out by severe amounts of sweaty grapefruity hops. Dense and caramelly with notes of gooseberries. Resiny very bitter finish. A but aggresive and on the sweet side. Papsoe (9663), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 6, 2007 (Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of Grovlam. Clear golden with a rough, white head. Extremely intense aroma of pine and peach. Fat body with plenty of malt - sweetish malt - and very fruity accents. The finish is hoppy with the fat, oily aroma hops shining through. Excellent. 301107 joergen (6141), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 2, 2007 Bottle.
