Clear amber with a smooth full body. Sweet mouth-filling palate. There’s no denying the strength and it demands your respect! Nose and taste is all about the hops! Dry, peppery and beautiful to savour. A big improvement on the original recipe!

Bottle at Chris O’s 19th April 2008 tasting. Very light orange with a decent hop aroma and flavour but strangely let down by a watery palate. Brew Dog can do better than this. redlight (1489), Winter Park, Florida, USA

Pours a clear light orange color with a very small, foamy head with big bubbles that receedes quickly. Nose is light with some stingy harvesty hop notes and some light biscuit notes. Palate is a little thin with a crispness to it. Flavor is the harvesty grainy hop notes with a light malt backbone of mostly biscuity qualities. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 17, 2009 66cl bottle. Orange with a lasting white head. Cadied grapefruit, tangerine, doughy pastry, and light spice in the aroma. The flavor is medium-sweet dough and honey malt, with lots of citrus and a medium-strong bitter finish. Very light alcohol, but enough body to indicate it’s strength, though it is not thick by any measure. There is a great balance between malt and hops, though the hops dominate slightly in the finish, as it should be in the style. Definitely a lot of American influence in this one. dchmela (1450), Orlando, Florida, USA

Smells sweet lik barley wine. Full nectar w/ a creamy texture. This is only mildly hoppy w/ defined fresh fruit malt which is totally enjoyable. Very english. Butter scotch, in a good way though. Hazy brownish orange color, small head, faded quick, no lace. Sweet bitter flavor, Al ot of caramel for a ipa, not super hoppy. Medium body, creamy oily mouthfeel, bitter dry finish. Eh, kind of confirming my feeling about Euro ipa’s, gotta be better there then here. Believe it was the most recent batch as I passed on two others form them as too close to expiration date. Allen (1410), Switzerland
