In the meantime could all raters ensure that they note which version they had in their rating to facilitate a split in due course, should that de deemed necessary. Whether you had the "new" or "old" version can be determined by reference to the batch number and the best before date. Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange copper with a paperthin head that diminishes quickly to nothing. The aroma is a light floral hops and pine. Medium mouthfeel with a dry hop and citrus taste with a nice sweet finish. Hides the alcohol well making it easy to drink. A good IIPA from BrewDog.

I’m gettnig a big fan of IPA’s and this was bang on. Great work from the brewers. Slight bitter aftertaste but a cracking brew. Alcohol is notice able a little but in the right amount. Belter.

Appearance was floodwater muddy brown with a slight tan head and a bit of lacing. Smell was freshly mown grass and a hint of orange peel. Taste was hos, hops, hops. Dry and bitter with a hint of malt but dominant hops, very long finish with slight black pepper. Not too over the top, a good example of an American style IPA.

Bottle pours a cloudy golden color with a off white head. Smells like grass and alcohol. Mouthfeel is medium and rough. Taste is high alcohol and finishes with an ultra bitter taste that I don’t think comes from hops. Its not very pleasant. Overall this is a beer I’d like to forget I tried.

(bottle from Veterans Liquor in Colorado Springs). Cloudy copper color. Small off white head. Floral hop aroma. Ligth malt (bread) and light hop (floral and grass) flavors. Avg duration. Smooth finish with light bitterness. Slick texture. Moderate carbonation. Fair lacing.

7/7/09 recipe. Pours a hazy, deep golden color with a small white head. Aroma has a strong orange citrus, light mango, very light grainy note and some light grassy hops note to finish. Flavor has an upfront orange citrus which rolls into a slightly biscuit toasted note with light sweet caramel and grassy hoppy ending. Very heavy body, low carbonation, oily texture and a low amount of lacing is left behind by the beer head. As a whole, the brew is pretty sweet with a good hop note. Alcohol is hidden pretty well but the beer seems to lack some balance in the hops characters. Still a good beer overall though.
