God fylde. trokini (1027), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 6, 2008 Pours hazy auburn with a i cm tall but very thick white head. Oranges, pine sap, mango, and grapefruit candy in the nose. Denser mouthfeel than the Punk IPA. Grapefruit and orange peel with resin in the taste, with that iced tea flavor. Biscuits. The malt is earthier than the Punk IPA, which seems to fit with the higher alcohol. Again, different than my usual West Coast IPA’s, but very good. saxo (3640), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 12, 2008 Bottle that I picked up at Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon and consumed at Cropredy Festival 2008 Pours light gold with a nice white head. There is a slight thick honey sweetness and its hoppy with also some lovely silky, citrusy, and tangy sweetness. This really was quite hoppy but I’d had the Ruination beforehand so I think the effect had been diminished ever so slightly, still this is a great beer. fonefan (11866), VestJylland, Denmark

Pours a clear copperish amber with a small white head and a creamy, fruity and hoppy aroma. The taste is initially high on sweet malts and rich fruits, but after that a brutal hoppy bitterness comes kicking in. A great beer!
