evilsoc (138), Wales May 21, 2008 Pale yellow like the breweries’ other IPA and well carbonated. Nose of sweet fruits, flowers. The taste is decently hoppy, I can almost feel those little cones strugging to combat the alcohol and residual sweetness. Finish is first pleasent dry hops then a little alcohol burn which is unfortunate. I think it was a mistake to leave out dark malts.
Beershine (1207), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Aug 20, 2008 Clear, medium-gold, not much head. Hopped-up nose, lots of orange and lemon. Quaffable palate, smooth but strong. Hot and smooth at same time. Very good. Oakes (6819), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Aug 18, 2008 Hazy straw and sort of flat-looking. Earthy, citrusy, woody hop nose with light pale malt backing. Moderate bitterness. A double? doubleo (720), San Diego, California, USA Aug 14, 2008 650ml bottle, Batch 002. Pours deep, clear, straw yellow with a small, sticky white head, some lace. Smells sweet and earthy pine. Bottle condition maybe? gotbeach (121), San Diego, California, USA Aug 13, 2008 Clear IPA with cherry and spice in the nose. Dry finish with a hints of oak.
