Commercial Description:
Bottled;
Oblivious to accountant’s interfering and conventional corporate wisdom we do not cut corners like other Lager producers and use malt substitutes like corn and rice to keep our costs down. Our Lager has 100% malt base providing an fresh, sharp initial sweetness and a body and flavour, which endures where others prematurely disappear into a watery bland grave. A combination of the finest German and New Zealand hops add subtle tropical fruit notes and add complexity and depth to this most statuesque of Lagers.

Sampled at Chris_O’s Shindig; Aug. 2007: Flowery hop nose; some spiciness; not alot of bitterness; dryish finish; some pilsy maltiness. Meh

Cask @ Bodega Newcastle 21/8/8/ a pale gold beer with a tight white head, nose is dried vine fruit and jam. Nice body with good carbonation with that raisiny fruit in the taste with lovely long balancing hop finish

Bottle from Westholme Londis Stores, Goring -on-Thames, Oxon and then consumed at Cropredy Festival 2008 Pours light gold with white head. Hoppy and dry lager, and whilst this is absolutely fine it lacks the character and interest that the other Brewdog beers have.

bottle- pours clear pale gold with large massive white head, nose is sort of skunky cat pee bit spicy, hoppy, pine, taste is really strong vanilla flavour and a touch of sweetness with a good doss of resinous pine hop and citrus rind,. really worth the try.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Slightly hazy pale golden with a small white head. Sweetish malty nose. Medium body with rather sweet malts and a hoppy finish. Carbonation is rather low. A disappointing BrewDog. 250308

Bottle, pours a light gold with plenty of carbonation with a thin head. Plenty of citrus in the juicy malt aroma. A soapy palate, overriding the citrus flavours from the hops. The finish is tangy and dry, but also a bit grainy. Not for me this. Wondering if it hasn’t travelled so well.
