From Vinens Verden, Odense, DK. Bottled, 201009. Amber with white head. Aroma of grapefruit and spices. Flavor is hop bitter but with less malt presence

Bottle @ pre-GBBF shindig, August 2009. Very hoppy, very bitter, not very well balanced. Seems like more of a gimmick than anything else. Sure, it proves that you can make a low ABV beer with massive aroma and flavour. But it is really just one aroma, one flavour and one dimension. Very harsh and aggressive mouthfeel too. If you like drinking hop juice you will love this but, although there are some interesting and appealing elements, I didn’t really enjoy this too much and couldn’t see myself supping a whole pint. I seem to recall finding this more palatable from cask but I can’t find my notes.

Bottle… Clear amber ale with a small, creamy, white head. Musky, resiny nose of skull-burning, earthy and funky hops - sweaty socks come to mind. Light-bodied with an astringent mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Bitter and a touch acrid. Thin, but that’s to be expected. Crisp, mostly bitter finish. Kudos to darkguardian for sharing the bottle!

12oz. A bitter that is actually bitter! Nose is super crazy hoppy, very much like an IPA with big citrus and pine notes. Flavor is all bitterness and lovely hop flavor. Tangerine and grapefruit with some resin figure in the most. A cereal like graininess is the only hint of malt but at 3.5% who can complain. Amazingly done.

12 oz. bottle - thanks clint!! ymmm, pickles; oh wait, should I rinse out that previous sour? clear copper with faint white head; sharp, bitter hops are musky and grainy; drinks straight up bitter and mildly harsh; radiohead rules and the brewdog boys are confirmed crazy :)

330. thanks, scrizzz! pours crystal clear medium brown. loose grayish head. big tangy citric nose. creamy medium body, wooly carb. lots of bitter, acidic, and oily hops. longish resiny finish. pretty great.

12oz via token’s master. Toffee copper color with small tight white head. Maltiness with bitter dank hops going on. Thin body but a ton of dank bitter hops going on. Whoa!...wait a minute this is only 3.5 damn this is what a bitter should be all about.

Bottled. An amber beer with a light tan head. The aroma is malty combined with notes of caramel and grassy and grapefruity hop notes. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of grapefruity hops, as well as notes of caramel and malt, but only in the begining, soon the hops dominate totally and turning into pineneedles, making the finish extremely dry and bitter.
