Its so hoppy for a low alcohol beer. I’d say this might be the perfect session beer, but its so hoppy I’m not sure how much of it could drink!! Great beer! HenrikSoegaard (4371), Randers, Denmark

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 22, 2009 12 oz bottle courtesy darkguardian. Pours a mostly clear golden amber color topped by a small, bubbly off white head of foam. The aroma is really hoppy for such a small beer showing notes of bitter citrus, fresh grass, and pine hop resin all atop a malt base of toffee and toasted bread. The flavor follows the same lines with the bitter grapefruit, fresh cut grass, and piney hops all adding nice bitterness. The toffee malt seems to sweeten things up a bit. Pretty light in the body with balanced carbonation leading to a dry, spicy hop finish. This is one highly sessionable small beer that packs plenty of hop flavor. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 11, 2009 Bottle, courtesy darkguardian. Pours a clear, dark, golden-red amber color with a small, frothy, bubbly head of khaki foam. Broken sheets of wet lacing mark the glass. The aroma is massively hopped for such a small beer, notes of grapefruit and dank, fresh grass shows atop a very soft malt base of toasted bread and toffee malt. Hints of pine resin lend further hoppy aromatics. Flavors are again very crisp and hoppy, showing ultra dank notes of freshly cut grass, mild citrus, and pine. The toffee malt seems a little buttery, which I’m pretty neutral to. Medium-light in body, with moderate carbonation and a semi-dry, biting, peppery hop finish, each sip begs the next. It’s highly sessionable stuff, and quite flavorful for a 3.5% beer, but it falls short of other low-ABV efforts such as Surly’s Bitter Brewer and Alpine’s Tuatara.
