| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 15, 2008 From the bottle pours dark ebony with a smooth tan head. Earthy nose of oak and soft smoke. Not near the scotchiness of the Islay, but much subtler peat and smoke to compliment the chocolate, toffee, and oat notes. The difference between each of these beers has been great to try.
