Bottle. Dark rich black with a brown head that dissipates quickly. Nose is full of vanilla notes and caramel with obvious malt with some moderate toasting. Mouth is overwhelmingly vanilla and saltyness with plenty of maltiness and not a hint of alcohol. Seaweed. Finishes like tortilla chips with salt and a lasting vanilla. Brilliant, if the salty tones are more prominent here

Flaske. Sort uden noget skum.

Pours black with a small diminishing beige head. Very sweet with a light bitterness. Very malty with molasses and caramel aromas. Some whisky and alcohol notes. Also prunes and vanilla. Hints of tar and liquirish. Full bodied with a creamy texture. Soft carbonation. Dry finish.

Bottled. Pitch black coloured. Huge brown dense head. Sweet and roasty aroma. Quite balanced. Loads of vanilla and spice. Flavour is sweet, alcoholdense, full of vanilla and has a light roasty and chocolaty note. Smooth. Medium to full bodied. Quite dry. Has a vanilla and alcoholdense end. Quite nice and easy to drink .

bottle blackfriars- pours nearly opaque tan head has dissapeared, was tan though. smells intensely like malibu. taste is much thinner than others, all in back of throat. just not my cup dont think. still quite tart in back of throat. (sidenote this tasting might have been tainted from the dogfish head 120 min. ipa.)

Bottle. A black beer with a big beige head. Plesant mild aroma of vanilla, wood and whisky, light roasted. The taste is light sweet, roasted malt, bread, vanilla, wood and whisky. Medium to full body with a dry light bitter finish.

The aroma has a lot of whiskey but it’s mixed with oak, vanilla and smoke. The flavor is very complex, it has notes whiskey notes, with smoke and oak, but also a bitternes. There is also a warmth from the alcohol, but it’s well-hidden.
