MitchWayne (264), Kokkola, Finland Aug 6, 2008 Smooth beer with vanilla and whisky flavors finishing to a nice oaky dry roasted finnish. Admirably balanced near perfect marriage of beer and whiskey, the aroma promises a lot and the taste manages to top it. I love this stuff. douglas88 (1555), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Jul 31, 2008 Updated: Aug 4, 2008A big thanks to Andrew for sending this beer a few months ago from Scotland. Pours a clear black with a tiny head. The aroma is rich oak and whisky notes, some vanilla too. The taste is very smooth; very noticeable cask aging, a nice sweet whisky flavor, some vanilla and light coffee, a small peat aspect too. Very nice, understated and refined.
