| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 16, 2008 Tasted blind along with three other Paradox Imperial Stouts on an Imp Stouty Tasting evening with Case, Traci and Loz 14-03-08, Poured very dark brown with just a small amount of beige bubbles. The aroma is stunning soft crushed tangerines that had been steeped in christmas spirits, quite wonderful. The taste is very silky smooth, oaky creamy vanilla starts to show first and the alcohol starts to show, it’s got a lazy quality about it which is great the whisky chracteristics have become so well intergrated into this beer it feels quite right. I like it but it still could have been better. big, big thanks to Craig, cgarvieuk for getting me these beers, cheers mate. ilovedarkbeer (1369), Dallas, Texas, USA
