Bottled, bought in Vejle. Dark black color, short brown head. Aroma of dark chocolat, some licorice, hint of whisky and peat. Nice dark roasted taste, bitter chocolat. Nice stuff.

Strong aroma of almonds, bitters and some smoke too, deep mahogany, red at the sides, pours a small tan head. Taste has malt, toffee, peat, wood, smoke and booze. Full bodied, very well balanced, alcohol is masked, nice tongue tingle. Fanatastic!

Bottle: Poured a deep black color stout with a small bubbly head with limited retention and no lacing. Aroma is a mix between some barley malt with some fine whiskey notes but not as much peat as in the Islay stout. Taste is also a very well balance mix between some barley and roasted notes with some fine whiskey notes though direct alcohol was noticeable. Very well done but I prefer when more peat is noticeable.

Near black colored with red hints. Little light brown head. Rich aroma with sweet dominating whiskey tone, some oak and roastiness also present, vanilla is very strong too. Medium to full bodied. Flavor is like aroma: vanilla and oaky whiskey dominating, somehow bland palate still. Aftertaste dries with still this whiskey here, mild alcohol also comes up. Not too much roastiness here, still excellent brew.

Bottle. Pours a deep dark brown colour. Sweet aroma of vanilla, wood, roasted malt and dark fruits. Good siruppy mouthfeel. The flavour is sweet with roasted caramel, wood, roasted malt, dark fruits, whisky and some liquorice. Well lasting quite sweet roasty woody whisky finish.

Pours black with a off white bubbly head & fairly good lacings. Aroma is of roasted malts (coffee), light smoke, oak & vanilla. Incredibly smooth palate - velvet silky soft & filling. Light sweet & salty flavor. Sticky lips. The whisky notes are very mild & pleasant. Only light warmth. Very well balanced!

Black body, beige head; Incredible nose, super smooth with very fitting alcohol sharpness; A little to whiskey sharp body, bitter and slightly sweet; Alcohol in finish mixed with very smooth whiskey aromas. Not perfectly composed or balanced, but super interesting.
