I sense vanilla and oak besides from the expected roasted malt, chocolate and liqorice. Some port in nose as well. Flavour is dakr roasty malts and the sweetness from a whisky cask. Very long roasty finish of vanilla and oak. Very interesting brew. Mitch_Wayne (111), Kokkola, Finland Aug 6, 2008 Smooth beer with vanilla and whisky flavors finishing to a nice oaky dry roasted finnish. Admirably balanced near perfect marriage of beer and whiskey, the aroma promises a lot and the taste manages to top it. I love this stuff.
