Jan 4, 2009 A dark brown color with faint head. spectacular peat aroma with faint hints of chocolate. Peat peat and a little more peat dominate the malty body. A little saltiness in the finish. Very nice.

Feb 15, 2008 Bottled. Deep black coloured pour with a small fast disappearing brown head. Really really nice. Roasted and malty with notes of chocolate, liqourice, dark dried fruit, dark bitter chocolate, smoke, berries and hops. Yum.

Sep 16, 2009 12oz bottle from Liquid solutions batch 001 best by 01/01/10. Let me know if I have rated the wrong beer, all these different batches get confusing. Pours a deep coffee brown with a small beige head. Nose was very smokey and full of peat, more noticeable than the Port Dundas version. Finish was also very smokey with some underlying chocolate notes, finish was a little watery.

I don’t know which batch it is, but it’s definately good!
Black with a light brown head, quickly gone. Aroma heavy malty (cask, burnt, smoke). Flavor light/moderate sweet, heavy bitter and spicy. Strong in alcohol, but not felt at first!
