| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 16, 2009 12oz bottle from Liquid solutions batch 001 best by 01/01/10. Let me know if I have rated the wrong beer, all these different batches get confusing. Pours a deep coffee brown with a small beige head. Nose was very smokey and full of peat, more noticeable than the Port Dundas version. Finish was also very smokey with some underlying chocolate notes, finish was a little watery. stouby (1948), Holbaek, Denmark

I don’t know which batch it is, but it’s definately good!
Black with a light brown head, quickly gone. Aroma heavy malty (cask, burnt, smoke). Flavor light/moderate sweet, heavy bitter and spicy. Strong in alcohol, but not felt at first!
