Bottled. A deep red beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of sweet malt, alcohol, wood, and whiskey. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of roasted malt, wood, and whiskey, leading to a dry roasted finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Clear, reddish brown with a rough, beige head. Lightly peaty smoke in the nose, also hard roasted malt and some alcohol. Quite full-bodied, fruity - dried fruit - vanilla and hard burned malts. Distinct malt bitterness. 240709

Bottle 33cl.
Clear dark red brown color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light heavy malty, roasted, caramel, vanilla, smoked notes. Flavor is heavy heavy sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20090724]

Bottled (as Paradox Speyside (Batch 11), had in London in August). Deep ambery brown colour with small beige head. Aroma is whiskybarrel, some mild plum, raisins, berries, mild earth and fruityness. Flavour is fruits, some wood, caramel malts, mild liquorice, some slight vanilla and also a very sweet alcohol stinging note. Probably the sweetest BrewDog Paradox I’ve had so far.
