Storm (2677), Amager, Denmark Apr 21, 2008 Bottle. Hazy golden colour with a white head. Aroma of enlish hops, malt and fruitness. Flavour of hops, malt and little sweet caramel. Ends up quite bitter, but nice balanced between caramel mlat and hops.
agl108 (352), Manayunk, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 17, 2008 22.4 oz. bottle. Poured clear orangish gold. Thin white head. Very nicely balanced between citrus hoppiness and sweet malts. Finished with a dry, lingering bitterness. Sessionable. Not a big fan of the marketing campaign; the "we don’t care if you don’t like our beer" micro schtick is a bit old. kmacphail (18), Isle of Lewis, Scotland Jul 14, 2008 A nice IPA that can be summed up in two words: bitter hoppiness. It is very bitter for an IPA which made it more appealing to me as I find a lot of IPAs a bit bland. This is my first beer from Brewdog and I have not been disappointed, looking forward to trying more of their ales. I must admit that I did like the dig at yellow canned lager drinkers on the side of the bottle. Kalli (373), Falun, Sweden Jul 13, 2008 Gold, light head, a bit of lacing. Orange dominating on the aroma, rather nice. Full in the mouth but still the malts feel almost demore with the hops taking quickly over resiny grapefruit and a bit of orange. michael-pollack (1310), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 12, 2008 660ml Bottle: Aroma of hops, toffee, pine, resin, flowers, and grass. Poured golden in color with a medium to large-sized, creamy, rocky, white head that lasted throughout. Clear. Sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is light to medium sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of hops, grass, caramel, pine, and a bit of butter. Medium body. Viscous, syrupy texture is smooth and easy drinking. Soft carbonation. Sweet, thick, hoppy finish. Ethereal (723), London, Greater London, England Jul 12, 2008 330ml bottle, at home with renffisch, 17th June 2008. Gold with a small line of head. As for nose, it’s funk not punk - farmyard time. Musky dry bitterness in the mouth, very refreshing, and then it delivers an almost painfully dry, biting finish. A great IPA.
