Commercial Description:
A beer of inherent contradiction. This heavy weight of the beer world is strikingly delicate with a white gold appearance. The light fruity aroma dominates the initial confrontation; lychee, kiwi and passionfruit all prevail with subtle nuances of cherry and strawberry. Don’t be fooled however by this smooth medium bodied ale. As it trickles down your throat as this wolf in sheep’s clothing begins to grow teeth. The bite comes as the bitterness builds and endures no matter how hard the malty sweetness of the alcohol tries to tame this ferocious beast.

Have had a rate for this in my phone since Nottingham Fest last year but this rate’s straight from a bottle I picked up at Uto, I had intended to pass this on at Zythos but never made it in the end so I’m drinking it...I imagine I’ll enter the previous one at some point...Clear gold with a fluffy white head that leaves a nice lace. Floral hops and fruits dominate but theres some appley malt lurking also. Reminds me of apple dishsoap. Taste is similar, bitter, mouthwatering hops with an array of fruits and a lick of malt rounding it off. Kinda soapy but overall a pleasant experience.

It’s slightly hazy, warm golden with practically no head. The aroma has notes of malt, citrus and fruit. The flavour is nice and hoppy with notes of spruce, citrus and fruit. It’s pleasant with a light caramel sweetness and a suitable bitterness.

Poured really pale straw, looking watered-down. No head despite a hard pour. Smelled like Swedish dishsoap, some floral hops, little else. Mouthfeel is slick, with lower than average carbonation. Taste is watered-down, but extremely astringent--like chewing tylenol. Despite the junky text on the side claiming that they both want to hear what I think and also don’t care if I like this beer, I didn’t enjoy anything beyond the label design. This is not punk, this is not IPA. This is great marketing and bad beer.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of sweet malt with floral and spicy hops. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a moderate amount of bitterness. Very good.

650ml bottle, Batch 004. Pours pale yellow with a thin white head, specks of lace. Smells sweet and malty with a citrus and caramel hop presence. Tastes sweet with some astringent hops and sweet malts. It’s bitter but malty and sweet at the same time. A little bit of a mess to me. Medium body, subdued carbonation. Bottle condition maybe?

Bit hazy, pale orange color with very small head. Aroma is malty, slighlty flowery and grassy hoppy. Flavor is sweet malty, a bit caramel malty and much woody and grassy hoppy. Medium-bodied and low carbonated palate.
