Commercial Description:
A beer of inherent contradiction. This heavy weight of the beer world is strikingly delicate with a white gold appearance. The light fruity aroma dominates the initial confrontation; lychee, kiwi and passionfruit all prevail with subtle nuances of cherry and strawberry. Don’t be fooled however by this smooth medium bodied ale. As it trickles down your throat as this wolf in sheep’s clothing begins to grow teeth. The bite comes as the bitterness builds and endures no matter how hard the malty sweetness of the alcohol tries to tame this ferocious beast.

A nice, balanced IPA with moderate cirtus and grassy aromas and flavors. Easy to drink, quite average IPA, but still has a pretty good overall flavor.

330 ml bottle from the LCBO. pours light yellow with a small white head. minimal carbonation. bighoppy nose with some grain pilsish malt body coming through. the flavour is mostly americn hops with just enough malt body. i enjoy the clean malt profile and how it was used to showcase the hops. hella drinkable with no real highs or lows. ill be back for more and would love to see this one as a year rounder.

Fruity aroma with grass, sweet yeast and apples. Brilliantly clear golden color with a frothy head. Oh wow! Nice fruity flavor - apricots and strawberries at the forefront - with a follow-through of bitterness at the swallow. Light and easily quaffed. All nicely complemented by a dry huskiness of European floor malts. This is truly outstanding!

Dark straw in colour. Aroma is fruity with some pine aromas too, but not as aromatic as a lot of US IPAs. Flavour is medium bodied witha slightly bitter finish. Not much hop flavour, more light malt and slight caramel and pine nuts. I was left wanting more from this beer, I expected something abit more I think and was just a slightly dissapointed.

Aroma of citrus, pine and burnt toast. Taste is a little light with some hops but nothing really to back it up. A good beer but isn’t really exceptional.

Pours a billowy white head that lasts throughout. Color is slightly hazy gold, would have liked it to be clearer. Nose is very forward spicy hops, a little earthiness, and some floral bouquet on the finish. Mouthfeel is less than expected on the front, burst of bitter hops carries the mid-palate -- some spice notes on the finish are nice. Not a lot of balance with this beer.

330 mL bottle. (bb 11/10/10). Nice label. Pale gold with a small white head. Strong hoppy aroma is dominated by pine/spruce, but has a grassy note as well. The flavour is all hops, from the floral start to the lingering, bitter finish. Little malt presence to speak of, which differentiates this IPA from the best of the style.

33 cl bottle from Bert’s Bierhuis. Pours clear gold with a white head. Aroma is hoppy and fruity. Flavour is bitter with a bit of fruit. I liked this.
