BBB63 (3672), La Porte, Indiana, USA Apr 22, 2008 Bottle and served in my GI IPA tulip. The beer pours a light golden hue with a lasting frothy head on top and left good lace upon the glass. The aroma has notes of tropical fruits (mango, passion fruit, tangerine, and pineapple), light pine, clove and black pepper, dusty and heather yeast esters, and a hint of herbs. The taste is surprisingly balanced between the bitters and a bready sweet malt layer. The finish is lightly spicy and mineral with some chalky yeast component. The mouth feel is medium-bodied and sprite with a dry clean finish. A very nice IPA and while not worldly it is still something nice to try.
GregClow (2285), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 5, 2008 Bottle - Batch 004. Slightly hazy light gold with a thin white head. Aroma is quite hoppy, but with a softer edge than the OTT American IPAs - notes of citrus and tropical fruit, with an underpinning of caramel malt, very nice. Body is soft, almost cask-like, really pleasant. Flavour starts moderately sweet, developing an earthy quality before moving into the punchy hop bitterness with notes of citrus and pine. This is a really solid and quaffable ale - excellent! petermadsen (303), Vesterbronxxx, Denmark Jul 5, 2008 Medium hoppy, citrusy nose with some caramel. The flavour is not that heavy on the hops. but citrus, pines and grapes dominates, but the malt is quite evident. Quite bitter, fine and fresh. kp (6000), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Jul 4, 2008 Date: 06/10/2008

Todeon (121), Höllviken, Sweden Jul 4, 2008 Bottle. Really floral aroma. Taste is pretty bitter with lots of floral and fruity notes, not the typical British IPA. JamesEddy (1), Calgary, Alberta, Canada does not count Jul 3, 2008 Quite unusual for a British IPA, very much like an American IPA with old world hops. Quite quaffable.
