After pouring, a stout-typical thin and beige coloured head remains on the top of the stuff.
Colour is a deep, non-transparent black and there’s naturally no sparkling in it.
Roasty, and coffeebeans-like impressions are hitting the nose.
Taste is sharpy, body’s full and oily.
Flavour is like previous added with some kind of bitter chocolate, too.
Finish is hoppy, dry and lasts lomg in the mouth.
Nice stout for one glass in the evening.

Aroma is also slight, mostly of chocolate malts. Body the color of cola Flavors clearly on the malt side of the spectrum with chocolate and roasted malts the most prevalent. Body is not heavy like a typical imperial stout. This will be a good one to remember when I want to serve an imperial stout to my friends, but are affraid they’ll freak out over something heavy and syrupy. tmoreau (566), Lombard, Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 24, 2009 Poured from a bomber to a fluted fest glass at Brixie’s Holiday Beer Tasting in Brookfield, Il. The color was dark brown with some amber tones showing through the glass. The head was a modest amount of bubbly, off white/light tan foam that left some light lacing. The aroma and flavor were roasty with mocha and a wisp of char. A little sweetness was perceived by way of hints of molasses, caramel and dark, dried fruit. The body was just medium, with moderate bitterness and a fairly dry finish. A good Imperial Stout, but not exceptional. Funknmilla (593), Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 22, 2009 Dark ruby brown color with almost no head at all. Roasty, coffee aroma with faint hints of smoke and licorice. Lightly sweet toffee notes lead into roasted barley and coffee flavors with a hint of smoked malt. Light milk chocolate flavors present as well. Thin bodied, but the alcohol is well hidden. swoopjones (1897), Buffalo, New York, USA

The armoa is really fruity, with some roasted malts and liquorice. There’s some odd sewery aroma there too, that i can’t really get a grip of... The taste is filled with dark chocolate, liquorice and roasted malts. An average IS
