Commercial Description:
Cask & Bottled;
It was only a matter of time before the original BrewDog got his paws in on the action. This egotistical young lab has decided to make a beer which best reflects himself. This is the beer equivalent of the big, cute chocolate monster. Soft, smooth, dark, chocolately and very strong. This gentle giant will never bite but would much rather give you a big lick on the face.

Bottle thanks to Bu11zeye. Pours dark and has the exact appearance of diet coke. Nose is cocoa powder, booze, and roasted malt. Taste is like a mouthful of coffee grounds with a bit of chocolate. Very bitter. Decent mouthfeel.

Gravity, Oxford CAMRA beer festival. Deep black, nice persistant tan head. Coffee, rum cow pasture, and ocean aroma. Really funky. Saltwater taffy flavor, smoke, brine, black earth. A huge volume of flavor, but a bit unfocused, and thus somewhat less than the sum of it’s parts. Seems flavors are fighting for attention, rather than part of a whole. Maybe it’s just young?

Pours a dark brown with small tan head. Flavors of roasted malt, chocolate, smoked bacon, coffee, small notes of dark fruit, and a bitter hoppy finish. Pretty decent, and slightly different imp stout.

Super dark, lively mocha head. Some seawater on the nose. I’m getting aromas of peat as well. Nice hoppy bite, stands up strong to the dark foundation.
