Commercial Description:
Cask & Bottled;
It was only a matter of time before the original BrewDog got his paws in on the action. This egotistical young lab has decided to make a beer which best reflects himself. This is the beer equivalent of the big, cute chocolate monster. Soft, smooth, dark, chocolately and very strong. This gentle giant will never bite but would much rather give you a big lick on the face.

Bottle. Dark brown body with a amsll off white head. Roasted malt, caramel, cream and tobacco in aroma. Mostly roasty flavour with notes of chocolate, raisin, light coffee and caramel leading to a dry roasty finish. Medium bodied. To the ordinary side of the impy stouts.

Nice and smooth impy stout but lacking some of the complexity of some of the big guns. Aroma is mostly bittersweet chocolate with a tinge of plum. Flavor is roasted malt, coffee, chocolate. Relatively quick on the finish and an almost too hopped bitterness. Creamy texture is nice.

Smell is roasty, coffee, leather, malts, and smoke. Look is clear dark brown to back in color. Taste is roasty, coffee, chocolate, super roasty almost too much so, with some dried fruits thrown in.

Sample @ Stockolm Beer Festival 2008. Easy to drink stout. Like melt chocolate in your mouth.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with a paperthin light tan head that diminishes quickly to nothing. The aroma is a sweet roasted malt with chocolate and coffee. Thin mouthfeel and very watery on the palate with a light roasted malt and a bitter finish. Hides the alcohol well making it easy to drink. A decent Imperial Stout from BrewDog.
