| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 7, 2009 Almost black beer with small mocca brown head. Aroma is strongly roasted, slightly sour, coffee. Flavour is strong, roasted, coffee, some liquirice and slightly ashy in the end. Nicely smooth to drink, low carbonated and slighlty sticky. Pleasant, roasted stout, which could be even better if it was more complexicity. Anyway, this reminds me great Koff Porter and so this have to be great beer. daniele (1701), Italy

Pours a very dark brown color with a small beige head. The aroma is great; sweet burnt caramel, chocolates, rich fruity malts. The flavor is great as well; smooth and rich chocolates, sweet milky flavors, light ash and smoke. Loads of cocoa and some dark fruit. Very quaffable. This damn good. A perfect ABV for a smooth and creamy brew. DownsouthGav (602), Greater London, England

Chocolate covered overripe fruit with an expresso on top!
Strong imperial style stout. Hints of smoke and perhaps a little ash and more intense dark chocolate. Dry in the mouth so is easy to drink. A little burn of alcohol lets you remeber it is 8% beer your drinking. Good stuff. armando629 (985), Budapest, Hungary
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 2, 2009 Deep brown body with a fine creamy beige head what never disappears fully. Fine aroma opens with roasted grains and coffee, after a while comes some fine spicies like vanilla, dark chocolate and a moderated hop. Rich body and oily texture, fine roasted grains and dark chocolate in the flavor. Mild fruitiness and bitterness with a light caramel and dark chocolate. Long roasted aftertaste. Nice stout!!!
