Commercial Description:
Cask & Bottled;
It was only a matter of time before the original BrewDog got his paws in on the action. This egotistical young lab has decided to make a beer which best reflects himself. This is the beer equivalent of the big, cute chocolate monster. Soft, smooth, dark, chocolately and very strong. This gentle giant will never bite but would much rather give you a big lick on the face.

Pours a one finger cream head that fades quickly to a ring leaving some lace. Almost black, faint mahogany highlights. Medium carbonation and medium bodied. Woody coffee nose. Flavor is roasted to burnt coffee, hints of alcohol. Drying finish. Best by Sep 9, 09. $6.99 for a 22.4oz bottle from Beverage Warehouse Winooski, VT.

(bottle - 750 ml) Dark black with a fluffy tan head. Aroma is rich and malty with a rather subdued roasted flavor. Lots of roasted and chocolate malts at the beginning of the flavor with a smooth and light chocolate middle. Finishes with a nicely roasted and semi-sweet malt blast.

It’s a stout so it’s dark.....VERY dark!! Bursts with clean crunchy roast barley, hint of bitterness and a nice malty sweetness. It’s not as big as I’d expected but still has a fair bit of body. Finish is superb, goes on for ages with the alcohol hitting after a few minutes. Very satisfying.
