| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 4, 2008 Amber color, with a fluffy white head, but falling quicly, yeasty, fruity, mild toasty, caramel malt nose with some toffee, biscuity, nutty accents in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a toasty, grainy, fruity, cookie dough character, with some toffeeish flavors, with a flowery hop leafy note, leading towards a malty, fruity, lingering dry hop bitterness finish. alexanderj (2287), Chino Hills, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 4, 2008 Bottle. Poured a very orange amber color. Aroma of bread caramel and fruit. Flavor was pretty standard for the style. Palate was a bit watery. Immensely drinkable but not a huge amount of flavor. Some earthy bitterness in the finish. They need to really lower the prices on some of their beers, this was a bit pricey.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 30, 2008 Cloudy reddish gold, virtually no head. Nutty, toasty, slightly woody aroma. Flavor is woodsy and herbal, with medcinal note in the background. Some hints of rosemary, too. Dry, winey finish. PJClarke (720), London, Greater London, England
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 27, 2008 Slightly dark amber with a good sized but relatively short-lived head of white foam. Big cereal flavours, maybe with some ground ginger and other spices. Light with tasty granola flavours, a sweetness a hoppy bitterness. Smooth and oily, then with a slightly grittier finish. Some honeyed notes come through quite delayed. A great, drinkable beer. Complex but perfectly balanced. GreatLibations (1470), Last Supper, Arizona, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 20, 2008 pours with a bronze color and a spattered Brittish head. Strong aromas that remind me of a peated single malt. Medium nectar with mellow residual effers. This is very English in style with a defined bittering component that drys the palate lickity split. Mild malt essence with peat and old boot leather. The brew finishes bold and dry. Well made and very enjoyable. A nice change of pace. It’s better than I anticipated. Flavor is asperin, slight hops, thin and watery...which is a good thing...drain pour!!! Tasted like a science experiment gone bad...the beer definitely had
