Jun 15, 2009 Bottle @ Scheffel. BB 11/08. Pours unclear amber with a small creamy and bubbly head. Nose is malty - bread and toffee. Hoppy grassy and bready taste. Medium bodied. Ends dry and hoppy.

Jun 11, 2009 "Crystal clear body with a massive tan cap that’s not leaving, lacing is sticky and thick. Mild hops, crisp breadyness and after fifteen seconds of smelling all aroma has disappeared. Beer feels thin and a touch watery but with good carbonation. Taste is bitter, pears, hops, bread, perfumey flavour. The bitterness in the after taste is very long lasting and powerful. Not to bad this is by far the most hops I’ve ever come across in a bitter but it works I like it."

Jun 4, 2009 Bottle mail ordered direct. Amber with a subdued off white head. Nice pure aroma. Predominately malty with restrained english hop bitternrss. Rounded with reasonable body but no outstanding charactue. Maybe brewed for the traditionally low hopped scottish preferance, but pretty bland in my books. I wouldn’t bother ordering it again.

Jun 2, 2009 Sample thanks to Adam77. Pour is amber with a caramel colored head. Aromas of malt and slight hops. Flavor is caramel, floral hops, and carbonation. Decent and not worth the price it sells for.

May 23, 2009 Cloudy amber. Small, soapy head. Aroma: Caramel, fruit. Flavor: Same with grassy hops and earth. Dry, bitter finish. Nice beer. Chock one up for the Scotties.

Hazy copper color with an offwhite head. Aroma was sour apple,malt and floral hops. Flavor was the same.

May 17, 2009 Let’s see what BrewDog considers laid back. Bottle from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Batch 1, and just like maniac’s bottle from the same place, dated 01/01/0-something. Pours a slightly hazy orange amber color with a one finger head. Good head retention and lacing. Malty aroma with caramel, citrus and other fruits. Taste is leafy, citrus hops, berries and caramel malts. Medium bodied. Fairly nice.
