cellar (327), Dublin, Ireland Jul 29, 2008 Clear red amber with short lasting creamy head. Notes of roasted malt, ripe fruit, bit of hops. Sweet and short bitter finish. Soft great mouthfeel. KimJohansen (3026), Copenhagen V, Denmark Jul 22, 2008 Clear red with medium off white creamy head. Sweet aroma with floral hops and caramel. Sweet flavor with floral hops, caramel and toasted malt. Ends bitter. Creamy mouthfeel. Perm (134), Tryon, North Carolina, USA Nov 12, 2007 The Red Biddy is a wonderful brew. Easy-drinking and congenial, it was the absolute perfect thing to enjoy along with a bowl (or three) of homemade potato soup on a rainy Irish afternoon, after a morning of soggy hiking. If ever you are in the west of Ireland, find it and drink it. It can be found here and there in Dublin as well. Skyview (2768), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Oct 7, 2007 From a 12-oz bottle shared by Badgerben poours a redish amber brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissolves toa film and white ring. Aroma of caramel malt, some earthy herb spice, a touch of roasted nuts and nutmeg. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonated with flavors of caramel malt, some mincemeat raisin and some flowery hops. Finish is semi-dry with a mild bitter aftertaste. BDR (1862), Roseville, Minnesota, USA Sep 27, 2007 Thanks to Badgerben for carting this back. Amber color with faint white head. Caramel nose with faint spiciness, but I didn’t really consider it a Christmas spice like Joe. Light hoppy flavor in the body and more malt.
