Nice mahogany pour. Nose is floral and malty, with a little toast too. Mild, toasted rye flavor with a bit of sweetness and a dry finish. Overall feel is like a fairly light, but still tasty amber. An unusual and enjoyable brew. scraff (1954), Baltimore, Maryland, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 21, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours a deep amber with a foamy off-white head. The head is pretty quick to disappear. The nose is sweet with notes of molasses, rye, wheat, and spice. Medium carbonation with a medium-light, slightly dry mouthfeel. Caramel, molasses, rye, and an ususual note that I assume is affected by the caraway on the palate. Medium-short finish with a little molasses hanging around. Malty yet light and dry. It isn’t too complex, but it is fairly enjoyable. adrian910ss (1435), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
